Robert Pattinson Has A Lot On His Plate These Days

Robert Pattinson’s Hollywood career is soaring these days. Not only is the blood-sucking Twilight stud set to make millions of teenage girls weak-in-the-knees once gain in the upcoming sequel New Moon (and further sequels), but he’s also in talks to star in a non-vampire film by Summit Pictures. Summit Pictures is, as you all know, the guys who made Twilight. This new role will also see Robert playing a heartthrob, so you can bet that all his female fans will show up for this one too. According to the Hollywood Reporter, this project will be called Memoirs, and is about two lovers facing a personal tragedy of some sort. The film currently has no leading lady, but may we suggest Kristen Stewart? We know they’ll share great chemistry.

Bubbly Cameron Diaz is all set to star in a new movie with a catchy name, Swingles. The story is about a bachelor who hires a woman to help him hook up with other single women. Cameron will play the role of the “facilitator”, but the male lead has not been announced yet

This is a teaser trailer for Summit Entetainment’s new animated feature film Astro Boy, directed by former Disney animator David Bowers and screenplay written by Timothy Harris. The story revolves around a robot boy (sort of like Pinocchio) who was created by its inventor to replace a son he lost. Although the inventor creates Astro Boy, he is unable to fully accept him as his son. So Astro Boy heads out to conquer the dangerous world out there in an attempt to win his “father’s” acceptance.

The trailer for Sorority Row, the remake of the 1983 classic slasher film The House on Sorority Row, has just been released by Summit Entertainment. The plot promises to offer more of the same-old formulaic screaming schoolgirls dying and masked serial killers killing, as if we haven’t seen a floppity jillion films with the exact same plot. The movie has Carrie Fisher in a supporting role.

The first official trailer for the biblical comedy Year One has just been released by Sony Pictures. The film has been directed by Harold Ramis, and stars Jack Black, Olivia Wilde and Michael Cera. The trailer looks good, though it might not deliver all that it promises.

This is the journey of the teen and sex comedy maestro. IN the previous movie he directed, the 2007 hit teenage sex comedy “Superbad,” Greg Mottola telegraphed his intentions before even a single line of dialogue had been uttered. With a title taken from a James Brown song and a soundtrack that leaned heavily on funk hits from the 1970s, the contrast with the movie’s three main characters, suburban white boys as nerdy and insecure as they were randy, could hardly have been more pronounced.
