Spider-Man 4 News From Sam Raimi
Sam Raimi recently opened up to Sci Fi Wire about his plans for Spider-Man 4, now that the horror flick Drag Me to Hell is complete and awaiting release. Among the stuff he revealed, he was planning to meet up with Kirsten Dunst to try to convince her to return. He said, “I’m hoping that she is going to come aboard, and I’ve got a meeting coming up with her… I think she would like to. But I don’t want to speak on behalf of her.”
Asked whether he would try to turn the new sequel darker in the tradition of the mega-successful The Dark Knight, Raimi said, “Edgy could be a direction, but I don’t think it will be applied without really understanding the character’s journey from the inside out first and then figuring out the best way to bring that about.”
