The film is directed by Karyn Kusama, who’s past credits include Girlfight and Aeon Flux. It will hit theaters on September 18.

We reported previously that the release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in IMAX theaters would be delayed till July 29th due to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’s month-long run. Now we have reports that three IMAX theaters will be showing the film from Wednesday, July 15. Those theaters are: AMC Century City 15 in LA, Henry Crown OMNIMAX in Chicago, and AMC Loews Lincoln Square in NY. You can visit these links to buy tickets.

Collider has recently revealed that Marvel legend Stan Lee will be playing Larry King in the Iron Man sequel. Lee has had cameo roles in nearly every Marvel comic book movie made to date. Remember him as the mailman in Fantastic Four? Or the man who saves a little girl from falling rubble in Spider-Man? Well this time you’ll see him portraying the famous talk show host. Iron Man 2 will be released May 7th, 2010.

There has been both speculation and news about what the sequel to The Dark Knight might be like, whether Christopher Nolan will still direct, and how the film might adapt after the death of the talented Heath Ledger. Fans have been torn by their contradictory desires to see The Joker return as Batman’s most interesting nemesis, and their refusal to accept anyone besides Heath in the role of the Joker. Heath’s shoes will be extremely difficult to fill. Lionsgate has released the first trailer for their sci-fi vampire film Daybreakers, starring Ethan Hawke, Sam Neill and Willem Dafoe. This is the plot summary:
In the year 2019, a plague has transformed most every human into vampires. Faced with a dwindling blood supply, the fractured dominant race plots their survival; meanwhile, a researcher (Ethan Hawke) works with a covert band of vamps (Willem Dafoe, Claudia Karvan) on a way to save humankind.
