Long before Robert Pattinson was a dark-haired, brooding vampire in “Twilight,” he was a little, chubby-cheeked baby boy frolicking about in his native London. And, we here at MTV News have the photographic evidence, thanks to Life & Style. We know that RPattz is hot now, but he sure was adorable when he was a little kid. And a platinum blond!

In one photo, baby RPattz, dressed in a romper, is seen playing on a playground. In another, a toddler-age Robert is shirtless, wearing shorts and a police hat and eating a sandwich, while a happy, older gentleman (a grandfather?) happily poses with the future teen heartthrob.

Another photo shows the future Spunk Ransom running around his backyard with a stick in his hand and very devilish expression on his face while a little girl plays in the background. If only she knew how famous (and dishy) her playmate would grow to become. In a final photo, Robert, in stripped shorts and suspenders, is riding a tricycle. Those cheeks look like they just need to be squeezed!

We have to admit that those photos would warm even the coldest of hearts, even a vampire’s.
