Producer Talks About Spider-Man 4 Villains
During an interview for the film Taking of Pelham 123, the The New York Post asked producer Todd Black (who also happened to produce the Spider-Man franchise) about who might and might not be in the film. Contrary to some earlier reports that Kirsten Dunst might be replaced, Black confirmed that she will definitely return for the third sequel. But unfortunately for some fans, the vampire villain Morbius will not be a character in Spider-Man 4. Black adds, “We’re just coming up with who the villain’s going to be now. We’ll be shooting in New York again. Trust me, people will appreciate who we pick, because it’ll be a big part of New York.”
Meanwhile, speculation is in full swing as to who might be the villain. So far, fans and experts have guessed Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin, Kraven the Hunter and Lizard, although only Kingpin has ties to New York the kind Black hinted at.
Natalie Portman will be playing the role of Jane Foster, the love interest of the title character in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor. Her casting has officially been confirmed by Marvel yesterday (July 13). The film will co-star Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston as the villain Loki. The synopsis of the film from FirstShowing.net:
