Over the four-day Memorial Day holiday weekend, Terminator Salvation (which has been getting mostly negative reivews) surprisingly failed to win the number one spot at the US box office. Whom did the film lose out to? It was Ben Stiller’s Night at the Museum , which grossed $53 million over the weekend, as opposed to Salvation’s disappointing $43 million. This is indeed sad news for us fans who were hoping something more from McG and company.

Natalie Portman will be playing the role of Jane Foster, the love interest of the title character in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor. Her casting has officially been confirmed by Marvel yesterday (July 13).
