Sorority Row Trailer
The trailer for Sorority Row, the remake of the 1983 classic slasher film The House on Sorority Row, has just been released by Summit Entertainment. The plot promises to offer more of the same-old formulaic screaming schoolgirls dying and masked serial killers killing, as if we haven’t seen a floppity jillion films with the exact same plot. The movie has Carrie Fisher in a supporting role.
Natalie Portman will be playing the role of Jane Foster, the love interest of the title character in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor. Her casting has officially been confirmed by Marvel yesterday (July 13). The film will co-star Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston as the villain Loki. The synopsis of the film from FirstShowing.net:
This epic adventure spans the Marvel Universe; from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
