This is sure to get fans riled up: director Timur Bekmambetov has announced that he plans to start shooting the sequel to last year’s slick Wanted in the autumn or winter of this year. The surprising news is: he intends to bring back Angelina Jolie. Now this sounds pretty dumb, considering she blew her own brains out in the first film. It has been announced that Evan Spiliotopoulos has been hired to write the script for the film, taking over from Chris Morgan. The budget for the new film is going to be $150 million, compared with the first film’s $75 million.

Natalie Portman will be playing the role of Jane Foster, the love interest of the title character in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor. Her casting has officially been confirmed by Marvel yesterday (July 13). The film will co-star Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston as the villain Loki. The synopsis of the film from FirstShowing.net:
